AI address extraction

AI reads the address. You keep driving.

NearDrop's computer-vision model scans each label image and pulls only the delivery address — street, unit, city. Nothing else. No names, no barcodes, no package contents ever leave your device unprocessed.

Address-only extraction. Zero sender or recipient data stored.

FAQ

Quick answers.

Do I need to create an account to use NearDrop?
No. NearDrop is zero-friction. Open the app, photograph your packages, get your ranked list. No sign-up, no email required to start scanning with the free tier.
What information does the AI extract from the package labels?
Delivery address only — street number, street name, unit or apartment number, city, state or region, and postal code. NearDrop never reads sender details, recipient names, barcodes, tracking numbers, or package contents. Address analysis is the entire scope.
How many packages can I scan in one batch?
Free users can scan up to 10 packages per batch. Pro users have no limit — scan your full shift load in one go, as many as 50+ packages at once.
How does the distance ranking work?
After address extraction, NearDrop calculates the straight-line distance from your current GPS location to each delivery address and sorts them nearest to farthest. The leaderboard updates if you move to a new starting point.
Which navigation apps does NearDrop work with?
Tapping any stop on the leaderboard opens your device's default maps application — Google Maps, Apple Maps, or Waze. Any maps app installed on your phone that supports address deep-links will work.
Does NearDrop work offline or without a data connection?
AI address extraction and distance ranking require a data connection. The camera and image selection work offline, but processing happens in the cloud. A standard mobile data connection (4G/LTE) is sufficient.
Is NearDrop built for businesses or individual drivers?
Individual drivers, full stop. NearDrop has no fleet management, no dispatch, no driver tracking or reporting dashboards. It is a tool for the single driver holding a pile of packages who needs to know which stop to hit first.
